Nightlife (2023)

On a clear and peaceful night, a young wolf cub wanders through the forest, encountering some of the creatures that are awake and roaming in the dark.

Harkening back to the films of Lotte Reiniger, Nightlife is a 7 1/2-minute animated short done completely in black silhouette, with boiling light-gray outlines and dark-gray night skies. Atop everything are four layers of pencil textures, to give the work a friendly, sketch-like feel.
