My extended version of a scene from one of my favorite animated films, Ernest & Celestine (2012), with watercolor textures to fit with the film’s visual aesthetic.
This was my attempt at remedying the one plot convenience/contrivance I see in the film: how Celestine climbs down into the cellar more to turn on the radio (and progress the plot) than to distance herself from the thunderstorm outside.

My first completed animatic for my second completed animated short, TIMID. Drawings scanned and cleaned-up from my rough, hand-drawn storyboards and animated in After Effects.
Nightlife Animatic
My second completed animatic for my first completed animated short, Nightlife. Drawings scanned and cleaned-up from my rough, hand-drawn storyboards and edited/arranged in Premiere Pro. The “Bat Ballet” and “Wolf Mother and Cub Return Home” shots animated in After Effects.
